Billing — Stripe vs AWS Marketplace
Both billing paths offer the same FlowState product, at the same flowstate-pro tier and the
same list prices: a $1,000/month platform fee (flat, unconditional, billed regardless of usage)
plus per-dimension consumption — including APN Sync at $0.01/deal-hour (~$7.20/deal per 30-day
month). See Tiers for the full price table and Metering for how each
dimension is measured.
Agentic Sales Manager and APN Sync bill on true concurrent-hour accrual on both paths — a deal present for 10 of the month’s ~720 hours bills for exactly 10 deal-hours, not a monthly high-water-mark. On AWS Marketplace, the accrued total is converted into a delta before each hourly usage report, mirroring the conversion on the Stripe side, since AWS Marketplace bills the sum of every hour’s submitted quantity (the same mechanic as Stripe’s summed meter aggregation). Business-Problem Generations and Marketplace Offers remain Stripe-only on both paths, because FlowState’s AWS Marketplace listing has no dimensions registered for them — a registration fact, not a technical limitation (see Metering).

Which path to choose
Choose Stripe (direct) if:
- You want to sign up immediately without going through AWS Marketplace.
- Your finance team pays SaaS bills separately from AWS infrastructure.
(Note: Stripe invoices are billed in USD regardless of where you’re based — there is no EUR option today.)
Choose AWS Marketplace if:
- Your organization has an AWS Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) or Private Pricing Agreement (PPA) and wants FlowState usage to draw down against it.
- Your procurement requires all SaaS purchases to go through AWS.
- Your AWS account already centralizes billing for your team’s tooling.
Both paths use the same FlowState account system and the same product. If you are unsure, start with Stripe — switching to Marketplace later requires contacting support, but your data is fully preserved during the switch.
